SEC Newgate UK is delighted to announce that it has achieved B Corp Certification, recognising the Company’s commitment to responsible business and being a force for good.

Our business is centred around our core value of ‘respect’ for clients and colleagues, the communities it works with and the planet.

Our dedicated Green & Good practice is focused on providing strategic communications advice and developing stakeholder engagement and communications programmes that help clients that are committed to driving environmental and social impact through their business model and transitioning to net zero.

The B Corp certification process is a thorough assessment of business operations and practices, looking under the bonnet at how responsible the business is and the impact it has. Central to the process is ensuring that businesses are thinking beyond profit and taking into account all stakeholders and the environment in the work they do and within their own operations.

Emma Kane, UK Chief Executive, Deputy Group CEO and Head of Western EMEA said:

“We truly believe that being a good business and a profitable business are missions that can co-exist and we advocate for a more sustainable economy based on respect for people, planet and place.

“We are extremely proud to have achieved B Corp status, which is a mark of the positive impact we are making as a business and the advice that we provide to clients looking to drive positive environmental and social impact and transition to a net zero economy.

“The B Corp accreditation process is rigorous, as it should be, and it has pushed us to think deeply about our impact and how SEC Newgate UK can be a force for good. While we will allow ourselves a moment to celebrate the certification, being a B Corp is just one part of our mission to advise and support corporates that are looking to prioritise environmental and social impact alongside profit, growth and employment.”
